We have thousands of records in books, family histories, vertical files, and microfilm. We have collected publications from not only Franklin County, but the surrounding counties as well. Our records include obituaries, cemeteries, maps, churches, marriages, county histories, and newspaper excerpts just to list a few.
We have a genealogy-friendly staff whose love of genealogy and history spills over into your needs and is always eager to help you find that record you are looking for.
The staff also does in-library research for a nominal fee. They are in the library every Wednesday and Thursday, and have been known to spend hours looking for ancestors which do not belong to them.
